I am a fully qualified Registered Nutritional Therapist and obtained my Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (Dip.ION) from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in Richmond, London. (Visit www.ion.ac.uk). I also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey, and was awarded a Distinction in November 2019.
I am a full member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT), the regulatory body which ensures high standards of care from practitioners. (Visit www.bant.org.uk). I am also registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which regulates complementary health professions. (Visit www.cnhc.org.uk). I am a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
I have a clinic in Effingham, Surrey. For existing clients, consultations by telephone or Skype can be organized. See the Contact page.
I have practised as a solicitor for the last 20 years in the media and general commercial sectors, including working as Head of Legal and Business Affairs for Jamie Oliver, where my interest in food became a passion. I now work part-time as a legal consultant and nutritional therapist.
Having suffered from various conditions over the years and seen many health care professionals and complementary health practitioners, my fascination in the relationship between diet and health has also grown, leading me to study nutritional therapy.
My particular interests whilst studying were:
- Gastrointestinal health
- Female Hormone Support
- Adrenal and Thyroid Function
- Sports Nutrition
- Dementia and related conditions
